Demon's Lust: making a harem with lust system

Chapter 148: Future of Jade

Chapter 148: Future of Jade

Apparently the mission was completed, and Ray received his award after a few hours, a ring made out of obsidian with veins of lava in it.

Artifact: Ring of Dragon

Rarity: Unkown

Effect: A drop of blood from the blood dragon king

"I never heard about that..." He knew that for every magic type a monster existed, but a dragon for blood magic was something else.

Extracting the blood from the ring, a golden drop of blood shined in front of him. Eating the drop, a surge of power ran through his system. After a minute of intense pain, his body digested the drop.

New ability unlocked: Dragon claws

Testing the new ability, his magic made a claw that could attack and disappear in any second. Its speed was the biggest factor, yet its magic usage was pretty high too.

"Not bad," Ray whispered to himself; any power-up in the next few days would have been a help.

That night he and Jade stood on the rooftop of the mansion alone together; setting up their stuff in the new mansion had taken their whole day.

"It’s been a long time since we have been alone." She leaned against the glasses, watching the burning sky.

Ray moved next to her. "It’s been too much at times."

"You know, after the festival I thought you were dead... But I was never sad. We all deserve to die when you think about it." Jade said with a heavy tone, like she wanted to talk about the matter for a long time.

"You found the goal you want to persuade, don’t you?"

Taking a deep breath Jade answered, "Yes, after the massacre of Katarina, I made my decision. I want to stop events like that from happening and make this planet a bet ... a safer place." She hugged Ray: "I’m sorry, Ray, but after this our paths will be separate."

Ray hugged her back. "I’m so happy for you."

Tears started to fall from her eyes. "Do you think I can change?"

Ray didn’t know the answer to that question; his mother had changed him, but in the end he had turned to the same person that he was born as.

Patting her head, he said with a calm voice: "Yes. Your sins will be forgiven."

Jade broke in his arms, sobbing and crying in his arms while his warmth gave her the strength that she needed.

Both of them stayed that way, with Ray letting her give away all the emotions that she had stored for so long.

After some time, Jade said with her voice returning to normal: "After this, I want to take control of the military; kings of the underworld are all agreeing with my plan."

Everyone knew that after a war on that scale, Earth would be in shambles; someone had to take the lead and control everything. After many thoughts Jade had decided to be that person.

"In general some must be against the idea of getting into politics, huh?" Ray held her closer. "I wanted to destroy crystal farms, but if they are your allies, I guess all that remains is the military."

"Thanks." Jade, with a shining smile, raised her head to look at him. "Marian says we must destroy their factories first, but I need someone from within the generals too."

Thinking for a few seconds, Ray had a few ideas. "I will work on that. Marian is with you too, right?"

"Yeah, both of us are working hard on the future plans." Jade shook her head, with silver and golden hair dancing in the air.

Having the expectation that none of them would leave earth, he didn’t mind the fact. "Good, both of you should only work on your political job; I will deal with the military myself." He chuckled, "And I won’t go on a rampage."

"You sure you can handle it?"

Ray sighed, "That’s the least I can do, and knowing you two are safe makes me feel better."

With an excited face, Jade stepped away: "I should go tell Marian. See you there."

Suddenly every plan that Ray had changed, and he didn’t want to make Jade do something against her will.

"Tomorrow I should attack the first factory; it’s near Alexanderia’s base too. If she shows up, it will be good too."

Alexanderia could have acted as the bridge Jade needed for the military; Alexanderia’s whole trust in the machines was because they gave her the confidence that she could win against immortals.

"But the formation of generals is due for some time; if I kill one of them with the star crimson, I have to fight Alexanderia, who has two magics!" All the possibilities were analyzed one by one in his head.

One thing was for certain: Alexanderia had to be stolen by him. Suddenly a great idea came to his mind. "Factories can stay for later; she is more important in Jade’s plan."

He needed some help for the plan, and with immortals now on his side, it wasn’t a hard task.

Let’s fight alone. Whoever wins gets to decide the other one’s life.

A bone hand took the letter and teleported away.

"You are too confident in yourself to pass the opportunity!" With a grin Ray walked downstairs. The mansion had many places that he hadn’t seen, and with Jade and Marian, a small celebration was not that bad.

Before he could reach the forth floor, the hand brought back a letter.

1v1. In the desert of Kot, 8 am.

"Hmm, the location has no advantage for her, and it’s a hard place to teleport because of the sheer size of it." Ray read the letter again; the bait had worked perfectly.

Checking his equipment, everything worked. The chances of his loss were near zero; with his new abilities and equipment, he could have been compared to an immortal in terms of strength alone.

Only one thing remained for him to do to take control of Alexanderia.

Raising his head, he whispered, "Famine, can you make a slave contract for me?"
